Aaron Moore - Driver of the Month, Front Load Team
Mr. Moore has been in the trash business for over 17 years and joined our front load team, quickly becoming an outstanding driver. Always on time and performing at a high level, he serves as a role model for many here at Liberty Waste Solutions. Mr. Aaron Moore was deservedly nominated and received “Driver of the Month” honors. We thank him for his exceptional dedication to Liberty Waste Solutions.
Antonio Gonzalez –
Raleigh A Tech
Antonio was nominated as Tech of the Month for the Raleigh/Harnett/Fayetteville markets. Antonio consistently demonstrates an outstanding work ethic, tackling every task with a can-do attitude. He is a key part of the department’s success and regularly takes time to train and support his fellow techs.

Safety First – The Full Briefing
Landfill Awareness
When entering the landfill, be aware of your surroundings. Stay off your phone and always wear the proper PPE. Always use 3 points of contact when getting in and out of your truck. Be safe and watch out for others. Always watch your step because landfill ground can hide uneven surfaces. Never walk behind any trucks or equipment; if you can’t see the driver’s face, they can’t see you.
Teamwork Safety in Lillington
During morning meetings, team members check on each other to make sure they have gloves and other needed safety equipment. They have also been seen on routes doing team lifts to prevent strain or injury.
Backing Up Safely
When a rear loader driver is backing up, helpers should be standing off to the side of the truck and communicating with the driver.
Overhead Power Lines
When placing or picking up a container, always be aware of your surroundings, especially overhead power lines. If you are unsure if you can clear them, use a spotter.
Near Miss in Fayetteville
A front-load driver was focused on the road ahead when a car came into his lane. Without his sharp attention, it would have been a head-on collision. A great reminder to always stay focused.
Container Placement
Having clear directions for container placement is critical to the safety of our employees and customers. When in doubt, pull someone else in for a review.
